Airrok ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website airrok.com, which provides free online tools including file converters, calculators, text tools, and AI-powered tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

  • Email and password: When you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
  • Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
  • Subscription plan: We record which plan you are on (Free, Plus, or Pro).

2.2 Information You Provide

  • Feedback: When you submit feedback through any tool page, we collect your message and the tool name.
  • AI tool input: Text you submit to AI tools (Regex Generator, Contract Summarizer, Meeting Notes Summarizer) is sent to our server and forwarded to a third-party AI provider (Groq) to generate a response. We do not store your input text after the response is returned.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

  • Tool usage: We record per-day usage counts for AI tools linked to your account to enforce plan limits. This data is associated with your user ID.
  • Anonymous tool analytics: We record anonymous counts of which non-AI tools are used. No personally identifiable information is linked to these records.
  • Log data: Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server log data such as IP address, browser type, and page visited.

3. File and Text Processing

Files you upload (images, PDFs, Word documents) are processed solely to perform the requested operation. Image and PDF tools run entirely in your browser — files are never uploaded to our servers. Document text extraction (DOCX/DOC) is processed server-side and immediately discarded. Text submitted to AI tools is forwarded to Groq's API and is subject to Groq's privacy policy; we do not retain the text on our servers.

4. Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com). When you subscribe, your payment details are entered directly on Paddle's secure checkout page and are never transmitted to or stored by Airrok. We receive from Paddle only your subscription status and a customer identifier. Paddle's use of your payment data is governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies and Session

We set one first-party cookie: session_user_id — an HTTP-only, secure cookie that identifies your login session. It expires after 30 days. Third-party services we use (Vercel, Paddle) may set their own cookies as described in their respective privacy policies.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: authenticate your account and maintain your session; enforce daily usage limits for AI tools; process and manage your subscription; send transactional emails (e.g. account-related notices, if applicable); and improve our services through aggregate, anonymous analytics.

7. Data Retention

Account data (email, plan, usage counts) is retained for as long as your account exists. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Feedback submissions are retained until deleted by our administrators. Anonymous tool usage analytics are retained indefinitely.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable laws (including GDPR and Thailand's PDPA) to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights — including requesting account deletion — please contact us at the email below.

9. Children's Privacy

Airrok is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Airrok after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
